She holds a Masters Degree in English Language and Literature from Oxford University and a professional accounting qualification from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK). Her accounting career took in multinational companies including 3M, ICI/Dulux and Hitachi, ending as Chief Financial Officer of Hitachi Australia.

She then turned to writing, with articles in Australian magazines (as Rosetta Taylor) and on Australian national radio. Her mix of accounting and writing lets her explain complex financial products in plain terms.
