Do Qantas Money credit cards earn Qantas Points with every transaction?

No. Qantas Points are only earned on eligible purchase transactions. The following types of transactions are excluded from earning Qantas Points:

Cash transactions, such as balance transfers and cash advances;
Cash equivalents, such as purchases of foreign currency or traveller’s cheques;
Account fees and interest charges;
Payments made by BPAY;
Government-related transactions, such as payments to the ATO, Australia Post, local government rates, tolls, parking meters, public transport fares, fines;
Transactions made in the operation of a business.

How are Qantas Points transferred from Qantas Money to Qantas Frequent Flyer?

When applying for the card you need to supply your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number. At the end of each monthly billing cycle, the number of Qantas Points earned during that month will be shown on your card statement. It can take up to 60 days for Qantas Points to appear in your Qantas Frequent Flyer account.
