    The basics

    • Additional cardholders. The Amplify Platinum Credit Card allows one additional cardholder for free. You will be responsible for managing the account and repayments.
    • Digital wallets. Amplify is compatible with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay digital wallets.
    • Gambling transactions. Bank of Melbourne has blocked gambling transactions from being made with the Amplify Platinum Credit Card.

    Rewards and benefits

    • Complimentary travel insurance. The Bank of Melbourne Amplify Platinum Credit Card comes with complimentary international travel insurance. To be eligible for cover, the card must have been used to pay for the cost of a journey prior to leaving Australia. Eligibility criteria apply.
    • Concierge services. The Bank of Melbourne Amplify Platinum Credit Card does not offer a concierge service.
    • Rewards points. The Bank of Melbourne Amplify Platinum Credit Card offers the Amplify Rewards program which allows cardholders to earn 1 point per $1 spent in the rewards program on eligible purchases, both domestically and overseas. Points do not expire as long as your account is open and in good standing.
    • Sign-up bonus. Bank of Melbourne offers a signup bonus of 100,000 Amplify points when you spend $3,000 on eligible purchases within the first 90 days.

    Rates and fees

    • Annual fee. Get a discounted first-year annual fee of $49 which reverts to an ongoing annual fee of $124.
    • Balance transfers. This credit card offers a 0% introductory balance transfer rate for 24 months. There is a 1% balance transfer fee and a maximum balance transfer limit of 80%. After the promotional period ends, the revert interest rate of 21.49% applies.
    • Cash advances. If you make a cash advance, you will be charged interest at the rate of 21.49% p.a., which will begin to accrue immediately. There is a one-off fee for each cash advance made with this card.
    • Foreign exchange fee. Transactions made in a foreign currency will incur a 3% fee.
    • Interest-free period. Amplify Platinum Cardholders enjoy up to 55 days interest-free on all purchases except cash advances if your previous balance has been paid in full or the minimum required payment has been made.
    • Purchases. The Bank of Melbourne Amplify Platinum Credit Card does not have any introductory offer on purchases. Purchases will be charged interest at the rate of 19.49% p.a.
